이 노래 이야기

여름 한 철 가볍게 즐기고 싶은 관계를 솔직하게 그립니다. "Teaching you, teaching me how to trust, don't have to be undercover"라는 구절로 숨기지 않고 편하게 서로를 알아가자는 태도가 드러나고, "Is a little bit less than a lover"라는 후렴이 반복되며 연인보다는 가볍지만 그 이상의 무언가를 원한다는 마음을 담습니다.

"Splashin' on the water... Tan lines on your body"라는 구절에서 여름 바다의 장면이 그려지고, "It's more than lust, it's just enough"라는 대목으로 단순한 욕망보다는 딱 알맞은 거리감을 원한다는 뜻이 드러납니다. 무겁지 않은 여름 관계를 원할 때 어울리는 곡입니다.

Don't rushTeaching you, teaching me how to trust, don't have to be undercoverIt's just usIt's more beautiful when we open up and get to know each other

When all feels lost, don't think too much'Cause all I need this summer

Is a little bit less than a loverNeed a little bit less than a loverYou get a little bit more than anotherNeed a little bit less, little less, little lessNeed a little bit less than a lover

Splashin' on the water, please don't make this hardеr on me (promise me)Tan linеs on your body, I'm tracin' your spine in degrees (ah)

It's more than lust, it's just enoughAnd all I want this summer

Is a little bit less than a loverNeed a little bit less than a loverYou get a little bit more than anotherNeed a little bit less, little less, little lessNeed a little bit less than a lover

Need a little bit less than a loverYou get a little bit more than anotherNeed a little bit less, little less, little lessNeed a little bit less than a lover

(Splash, splash, splash, splash, splash, splash, splash, splash)Need a little bit less than a lover (all I need)Need a little bit less than a lover (all I need)Less than a lover

Less than a Lover
