The Last Thing On My Mind

It's a lesson too late for the learningMade of sandMade of sandIn the wink of an eye my soul is turningIn your handIn your handAre you going away? With no word of farewellWill there be not a trace left behind?Well I could have loved you betterI didn't mean to be unkindYou know that was the last thing on my mindYou got reasons a plenty for goingThis I knowThis I knowFor the weeds have been steadily growingPlease don't goPlease don't goAre you going away? With no word of farewellWill there be not a trace left behind?Well I could have loved you betterI didn't mean to be unkindYou know that was the last thing on my mind
